Last Updated on October 2, 2022 by

The Motorola Moto G82 is a great phone for those looking for a budget device that doesn’t skimp on features. The phone sports a 6.3-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 665 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage (expandable via microSD), and a 4000mAh battery. It also has a triple rear camera setup (48MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth sensor), as well as a 16MP front-facing camera. One of the best things about the Moto G8 is that it runs Android 10 out of the box. That means you get all the latest features and security updates, without having to wait for Motorola to push them out. The phone is also compatible with Motorola’s Moto Mods, which can add additional functionality like a wireless charging back, or a gamepad.

MOTOROLA MOTO G82:  DISPLAY

MOTOROLA MOTO G82: SOFTWARE

The Moto G8 Plus shipped with Android 9.0 Pie, and it’s still on that software today. That means it’s missing out on a lot of the new features and improvements that have come to Android 10.

Thankfully, Motorola is finally rolling out the Android 10 update to the Moto G8 Plus. The update is currently rolling out in Brazil, but it should reach other markets in the coming weeks.

The update brings a lot of great new features to the Moto G8 Plus, including a dark mode, improved gesture navigation, and more. It also includes the latest security patches and fixes for some bugs.

MOTOROLA MOTO G82:  CAMERA

Motorola Moto G82 camera is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a great phone camera. It has a resolution of 13 MP and an aperture of f/2.0. The camera also has phase detection autofocus and a dual-LED flash. It can record video at 1080p@30fps.

The camera software is good and it offers a lot of features such as Panorama, Burst Mode, Night Mode, HDR, and more. The camera interface is easy to use and it is straightforward. The image quality of the Motorola Moto G82 camera is good. The low-light performance is also good.

The video quality of the Motorola Moto G82 camera is also good. The colors are accurate and the detail is impressive. The video stabilization is good and it doesn’t have any issues with the focus.

MOTOROLA G82: BATTERY LIFE

Motorola’s new Moto G8 handset is now available to purchase, and while it’s a solid mid-range device, one area where it falls down is battery life.

The Moto G8 has a 4000mAh battery, which is a decent size, but in our testing, it only just lasted a day of use. With more moderate use it should last a day and a half, but if you’re a power user you’ll definitely need to recharge every night.

Standby time is also quite poor, with the phone losing around 5-10% overnight even when not in use.

In terms of raw battery life, the Moto G8 isn’t too far behind the competition. The Samsung Galaxy A51 has a slightly smaller 4000mAh battery but lasted a bit longer in our testing.

The real issue is that the Moto G8 doesn’t have any particularly efficient components. The Snapdragon 665 processor is fairly power-hungry, and the 1080p+ display is also fairly demanding.

Will Moto G71 get an Android 13 update?

It is not yet known if the Moto G71 will receive the Android 13 update. The latest version of Android is currently only available on a few select devices, so it may be some time before it is released for the Moto G71. In the meantime, users can keep an eye on the latest news and rumors about the Android 13 update to see if it is coming to their devices.

Does Moto G82 have stereo speakers?

Moto G82 does have stereo speakers. This phone is equipped with two speakers that are placed on the bottom of the phone. These speakers produce a clear and loud sound. You will be able to enjoy music, movies, and games with great sound quality.
