Apple's latest Studio Display update fixes an audio issue.

Apple has released a new software update for the Studio Display following reports of audio issues such as sound dropouts and choppy playback.

The new update, which Apple says only fixes an audio issue, is a modified version of Update 15.5 and is available to download and install.

Your Mac will need macOS Monterey 12.4 or later.

MacRumors reported on a memo this week indicating that Apple was aware something was going on.

Apple apparently said that the audio problems were not due to the Studio Display hardware.

The company advised customers to unplug the display from power and disconnect any accessories or devices.

And then plug in again after waiting 10 seconds.

If you still have problems, you can always try unplugging the display as recommended by Apple.

These audio issues aren't the only problems that have plagued Apple $1,599 Studio Display.

The display's webcam has also been heavily criticized, and Apple has released a fix intended to make things better.
